What is a Sonos Boost?

  • The Sonos Boost is a device that creates a separate Wi-Fi network for connecting your Sonos speakers.
  • You can plug a Sonos Boost into your Wi-Fi router, and it'll make a new network without traffic from any other devices.
  • If your Sonos devices often skip or play out-of-sync with each other, you might want to consider setting up a Sonos Boost network.

 

The Sonos Boost is a Sonos Bridge alternative that promises to upgrade your wireless network in hopes of improving your Sonos system set-up.

For starters, the Boost will expand the reach of your multi-room audio system. The Boost connects directly to your home router and sets up a dedicated network for your Sonos wares to link up through.

Sonos reckons its new kit can extend your wireless range by up to 50 per cent. “No matter the strength of your internet connection at home, rock-solid wireless is our standard,” Sonos explained. “That’s why – alongside making Sonos even easier to get started last month with our new Wi-Fi setup – we also introduced the Sonos Boost.”

The Boost also comes packing three antennas that help reduce interference from other wireless tech you might have around the house. If your Sonos sound system is already working fine and dandy then you won’t need this, but if your Bridge isn’t re-routing seamless audio to your Sonos products then you might find the Boost quite useful.

Delivery Policy

For all items over £150 delivery is free of charge. For all website orders below £150.00, a £8.99 delivery and administration fee will be charged.

Ceiling Speakers UK offers a next day delivery service for orders placed before 15:00 Monday - Friday. The delivery service is standard to all central UK and our preferred shipping partner is DPD. If you require overseas delivery, please call the sales office on 020 8977 8633

Returns

Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and not previously installed, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the invoice or proof of purchase.
